Chianocco (27th-28th Sept)
Arrived safely in a small place called Chianocco. We camped in a Motor home site much to the displeasure of certain campers. Threatened to get the authority out said we were not welcome any we are still here under their eagle eyes. We hope to cross Torino tomorrow hopefully it will be quite. Cyclists have gone their own way.
Just finished the best bowl of pasta washed down with a bottle of red wine cooked and given to us by one of the camper vans. It was just what we needed now of to bed.
We've had a perfect morning leaving campervan car park at 7:30 drove for an hour then stopped at bar on the side of main road to just check the way they gave us such a welcome with coffee and pastries on the house and a bag of apples for the horses. We are stopped just beneath St Michael where we met our first pilgrims all the way from Spain father and daughter. All the locals have greeted us along the way with smiles waving and ciao. It is wonderful to be back in bella Italia.
